I loved the story from the beginning but lost interest when richard and angelina became a side story. I followed the story through and i have to say this book was disappointing. I would like to see more of where everyone is going. It is definitly a different kind of time travel series. I read through all 7 to find out that I had to wait MONTHS to get the final book. Heart warming, imaginative, and action filled. She is a fighter and a wise woman just to survive her many trials. She is a healer and breaks all the molds of females of that era. She eventually gains admiration, love and respect not only of her husband but many nobleman andwomen of several countries. She becomes wealthy making numerous friends and allies along the way.

She becomes an oddity for a woman of thattime and extraordinary entrepreneur and manager of their estate. How doesshe ever change - to a loving stepmother to a sweet daughter, a vivacious and disciplined beauty, and exceptionally bright inventer (of course with ideas hundreds of years ahead of that time). From a frumpy cow forsaken by a husband who stays away and only visits for a brief conjugal visit she is then left to for in a remote estate in the care of inept and thieving scoundrels at the mercy of would be assassins. As a near death experience of the host she has reason to be different and how different can shebe. She awakens in another bodyhundreds of years earlier in a world drastically different from our modern era and in a body sick and so different from her previous one. But that's just the beginning of her story. Lillian Earton, who started out as a modern young graduate and ends her life along with her parents in a tragic auto accident.
